MADURAI: The counting of contributions made by devotees in the ‘hundis’ of Poonga Murugan Temple near Madurai Corporation Rajaji Park took place here on 24th February 2020.
Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan and senior officials were present during the ‘hundi’ counting which was done by college students and others in the presence of staff.
According to a press release received here today, the ‘hundis’ of Poonga Murugan Temple were opened today and the total amount was Rs.3,18,944. Among those present during the counting were corporation officials assistant commissioner (Rev) Mr.Jayaram Raja, Mr.Sureshkumar and others.
