CHENNAI: Deciding to give a strong counter attack, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called for holding massive rallies in all districts of Tamil Nadu on 28th February 2020- Friday at 3pm on the issues of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), NRC and the NPR.
The BJP cadres and functionaries in all districts in Tamil Nadu will go in a rally to the district collectorates urging authorities to take action against those who are misleading the Muslim minorities in the State on CAA- NRC-NPR by spreading false information and instigating protests thereby disturbing communal harmony and law and order, Mr.K.S.Narendran, Tamil Nadu BJP State General Secretary and party headquarters in-charge, has said in a press release here today.
Stating that the people of Tamil Nadu must know the truth and facts about CAA etc, the BJP has alleged that some political parties like the DMK and a few leaders are instigating the people towards indulging in violence.
“Our party BJP will take on this fake false campaign being carried out by those who are disturbing peace and tranquility. In order to remove fears, misconceptions and all doubts about CAA-NRC-NPR being created by some forces in the State, the party cadres will take out rally to district collector’s offices in all districts and demand action against those creating hatred among people and religions,” the BJP press release here said today.
