MADURAI: A few students of Madurai Corporation’s Avvai Girls Higher Secondary School in Madurai had a great moment today as their school was provided with latest computers sponsored by ACT Fibernet under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for their further learning in school through ‘Special Class’.
On 19th February 2020, the Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan was present when the five computers were handed over to that school where five girl students of special class who are being provided special coaching for NEET and IIT entrance examinations besides other competitive tests will benefit in a big way.
The Corporation is providing special attention to the selected girls of Avvai Girls Higher Secondary School here as they were toppers in Class X public examinations last year. Special classrooms, smart class facility, free notebooks, guidance and orientation besides free auto for their conveyance to classes are the highlights of Madurai Corporation’s special interest in this initiative to encourage and equip them for their further step, according to a press release here today.
Among those present at today’s event were Corporation Education Officer P.Vijaya, ACT Fibernet vice-president Mr.Narayanan, branch manager Mr.Narasimhan and coordinator Mr.Balasubramanian.
