MADURAI: A mega rally and demonstration is being organized by the VCK at Tiruchi on 22nd February 2020 demanding the Narendra Modi government to withdraw the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) by taking the people’s sentiment into consideration.
Functionaries and cadres of VCK held a street corner meeting at Tirumangalam near Madurai today-18th February 2020- urging the Centre to repeal CAA since there is public anger against it and creating doubts among the minorities.
“The VCK chief Mr.Thol.Thirumavalavan is leading State-wide demonstrations against CAA-NPR……People’s voice must be respected,” the VCK leaders said in the meeting.
Among those who spoke at the meeting today include party functionaries Mr.Kalaichelvan, Mr.Yoga Kathirmaran, Mr.Inquilab and others.
