MADURAI: The ‘Happy Schooling’ concept being implemented in corporation schools of Madurai Corporation is creating happy moments for students, teachers and parents.
On 17th February 2020, the prize distribution function was held in Madurai where happy students displayed their talent, skills and received prizes. The Madurai Corporation is successfully carrying out ‘Happy Schooling’ concept in its 24 schools as of now with the support of IT company HCL and M.S.Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation here.
ALWAYS BE CONFIDENT:
Corporation officials and mental health experts are helping the students to always be confident, aim for success, never fear and that self confidence leads to success.
Mr.S.Visakan, Madurai Corporation Commissioner, who addressed the school students today, has said that capacity building, skill training and confidence building measures are a few components of Happy Schooling program.
Students of Madurai Corporation schools take part in various activities that make them relax, rejuvenate and learn important things. They get exposed to environment protection and water bodies also, pollution control, proper disposal of waste etc.
Leading mental health expert Dr.C.Ramasubramanian of M.S.Chellamuthu Trust and Research Foundation, Tamil Nadu Open University Vice-Chancellor Prof.K.Parthasarathy and Mr.Samuel Ebinezer from HCL were among those who participated in the event.
