MADURAI: The Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education of Tiruchi Region, Mrs.K.Usha, who was caught in a controversy, has gone on a long leave.
In her place, the State Government had appointed K.Cyndhia Selvi, Principal, Government Women’s Arts College in Kumbakonam, as RJD in-charge for Tiruchi Region.
Lots of protests took place at various places in Tamil Nadu including Madurai condemning the attitude and insults meted out by Usha towards some employees in the collegiate education office.
The order was issued today – 14th February 2020- following the intensified protests over the allegations against her.
Prof.Cyndhia Selvi will be in-charge Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education for Tiruchi Region with financial power and will also continue as Principal of Kumbakonam college, the order said today.
