MADURAI: The LPG cylinder suppliers and gas cylinder delivery persons today submitted a petition at the Area Office of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) in Chokkikulam here today – 10th February 2020 – pressing for their various genuine demands.
They had demanded in their petition that their monthly salary and income should be guaranteed as prescribed by the Central Government. Nearly 100 LPG gas cylinder delivery workers wanted for their life safety, medical insurance facility and protection through labour welfare fund.
“Our gas cylinder delivery personnel have no weekly holiday or any protection. For the safety of our lives and families, the IOC and State Government must take immediate steps,” they demanded in their petition.
