MADURAI: The auspicious ‘Thaipoosam’ festival was celebrated in a grand manner at the famous Alagarkoil and Tiruparankundram temple in Madurai today- on 8th February 2020.
Atop the Alagarkoil hill, a large number of devotees turned up for darshan at Palamudhircholai Murugan temple where special pujas were performed on the occasion of Thaipoosam today. Special buses were operated for the convenience of devotees to Alagarkoil.
AT TIRUPARANKUNDRAM:
Similarly, ‘Thai Poosam’ festival was celebrated at Lord Subramaniyaswamy Temple in Tiruparankundram here today morning. Thousands of devotees witnessed the special puja and abhishekam.
