DSU goes for tie-up with UK’s Harper Adams varsity

BANGALORE: Continuing its pace for global academic tie-ups, the Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) in Bangalore has explored the potential areas for international joint research collaboration with Harper Adams University, UK.

Dr.Adreen Hart, International Recruitment Communications Officer and Prof.Paramjit S.Chima, Head of Engineering of Harper Adams University visited DSU on 4th February 2020 to discuss joint research collaboration.

Prof.Paramjit S.Chima presented the technological area of collaboration in agricultural engineering, product support engineering, food engineering and applied mechatronic engineering. He invited scientists and faculty of DSU for collaboration in the areas of natural resources, management, biomass renewable energy and climate change.

Prof.A.N.N.Moorthy mooted the possibility of inviting HAU-UK professors to teach DSU engineering students in certain advanced technology courses of mutual interest for two or three months.

Prof.K.Muthuchelain, Pro Vice-Chancellor, DSU, had facilitated this international collaboration. Prof.Janarthan and Prof.Shankapal of DSU and all the Deans of engineering, bioscience and health sciences, were present during the collaboration talks.
