THANJAVUR: The 1,000-year-old famous Brhadeeswarar Temple at Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu is ready for consecration ‘Kumbabhishekam’ which will be held tomorrow 5th February 2020.
Thousands of devotees had already arrived in Thanjavur for watching the ‘kumbabhishekam’ of Big Temple.
Thanjavur District Collector Mr.Govinda Rao has said that all arrangements are completed and special attention being given to crowd management. For physically challenged people and elderly people there are battery operated vehicles to take them to the ‘yagasala’.
Six medical teams will be there inside and outside the temple and doctors will be available. Also, more than 10 ambulances and mobile medical teams are there.
From 4th to 6th February 2020, special trains to Thanjavur will be operated from Tiruchi, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.
