Train schedule changes from 5th Feb in Madurai Division

MADURAI: Due to track maintenance and other safety related works in Madurai division, the following changes are made in train services, according to a press release received from Madurai Division of Southern Railway here on 3rd February 2020.

Train fully cancelled:

Train No. 56624 Madurai – Palani passenger will be fully cancelled from 12.02.2020 to 29.02.2020. However a passenger special will run on these days leaving Madurai at 06.30 hrs and reaching Palani at 10.00 hrs with scheduled stoppages of the regular train.

Trains partially cancelled:

1.    Train No.56723 Madurai – Rameswaram passenger scheduled to leave Madurai at 06.45 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Mandapam and Rameswaram from 10.02.2020 to 12.02.2020 and 02.03.2020 and 03.03.2020.

2.    Train No.56722 Rameswaram – Madurai passenger scheduled to leave Rameswaram at 11.15 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Rameswaram and Mandapam from 10.02.2020 to 12.02.2020 and 02.03.2020 and 03.03.2020.

3.    Train No.56769 Palakkad – Tiruchendur passenger train scheduled to leave Palakkad at 04.10 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Satur and Tirunelveli on 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24 and 25^th February 2020.

4.    Train No.56769 Palakkad – Tiruchendur passenger train scheduled to leave Palakkad at 04.10 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Madurai and Tirunelveli on 12, 16, 19 and 23^rd February 2020 and the same will leave Madurai at 18.45 hrs. and will be handed over to Palakkad division at 23.00 hrs. or late by 120 minutes. 

5.    Train No.56770 Tiruchendur – Palakkad passenger train scheduled to leave Tiruchendur at 11.40 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Satur on  10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24 and 25^th February 2020. 

6.    Train No.56770 Tiruchendur – Palakkad passenger train scheduled to leave Tiruchendur at 11.40 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Madurai on 12, 16, 19 and 23^rd February 2020.

7.    Train No.56734 Sengottai – Madurai passenger train scheduled to leave Sengottai at 11.50 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Virudhunagar and Madurai from 10.02.2020 to 25.02.2020   (except Thursdays) .

8.    Train No.56735 Madurai – Sengottai passenger train scheduled to leave Madurai at 17.00 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Madurai and Virudhunagar from 10.02.2020 to 25.02.2020   (except Thursdays).

9.    Train No.56319 Nagercoil – Coimbatore passenger train scheduled to leave Nagercoil at 07.10 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Tiruparankundram and Dindigul from 05.02.2020 to 25.02.2020  (except on 6, 11, 13, 20^th February 2020) and partially cancelled between Satur and Dindigul on 11.02.2020.

10. Train No.56320 Coimbatore – Nagercoil passenger train scheduled to leave Coimbatore at 07.20 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Tiruparankundram from from 05.02.2020 to 25.02.2020  (except on 6, 11, 13, 20^th February 2020) and partially cancelled between Dindigul and Satur on 11.02.2020.

11. Train No.56721 Madurai – Rameswaram passenger scheduled to leave Madurai at 12.15 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Paramakudi and Rameswaram from 13.02.2020 to 29.02.2020  (except Sundays).

12. Train No.56722 Rameswaram – Madurai passenger scheduled to leave Rameswaram at 11.15 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Rameswaram and Paramakudi from 13.02.2020 to 29.02.2020  (except Sundays).

13. Train No.56829 Tiruchchirappalli – Rameswaram passenger scheduled to leave Tiruchchirappalli at 06.40 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Manamadurai and Rameswaram from 13.02.2020 to 29.02.2020  (except Sundays).

14. Train No.56830 Rameswaram – Tiruchchirappalli passenger scheduled to leave Rameswaram at 13.55 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Rameswaram and Manamadurai from 13.02.2020 to 29.02.2020  (except Sundays).

15. Train No.56822 Tirunelveli – Mayiladuturai passenger scheduled to leave Tirunelveli will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Tiruchchirappalli on 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26 and 28^th February and 02.03.2020 and 04.03.2020.

16. Train No.56821 Mayiladuturai – Tirunelveli passenger scheduled to leave Mayiladuturai 11.25 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Tiruchchirappalli and Dindigul  on 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21,  24, 26 and 28^th February and 02.03.2020 and 04.03.2020.

Detention/Delay in Handing over:

1.    Train No.56320 Coimbatore – Nagercoil passenger will run 50 minutes late in Madurai division area from 15.02.2020 to 24.02.2020 except Thursdays.

2.    Train No.56826 Tirunelveli – Erode passenger  will run 115 minutes late in Madurai divison area from 12.02.2020 to 29.02.2020 except Sundays.

3.    Train No.56822 Dindigul – Mayiladuturai passenger will be run 50 minutes late in Madurai division area on 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27 and 29^th February 2020.
