Give more funds for skills: J.P.Gandhi on 2020 Budget (Video)

MADURAI: India’s leading career consultant Mr.Jayaprakash Gandhi from Tamil Nadu had today welcomed several proposals announced in the Union Budget 2020-21 which was presented today but gave his suggestions in a complete perspective.

He says that the allotment made for skill development initiatives for students is very less in the total education outlay of more than Rs.90,000 crore.

“The Central government should allocate more funds for skill enhancement. It should rethink and reconsider because skill development for students is very important in India. The allocation should be atleast Rs.10,000 crores,” Mr.J.P.Gandhi said today.

Expressing his opinions on the Union Budget 2020 with regard to education sector, he said that the assessment test announced for foreign students coming to India should be conducted for Indian students also. “When we are judging the competitiveness of foreign students, it must be there for our students also. Evaluation is good.because our Indian students also can upgrade themselves,” he felt. 
       
Mr.Jayaprakash Gandhi had welcomed the announcement to enhance online courses and online learning. Stating that the allotment of money for quantum learning technology initiatives with Rs.8,000 crores for next five years should be increased, the career consultant has said that it is a good start but needs more money.  
He welcomed the announcement of National Police University to be set up in Uttar Pradesh and also the foreign investment in education sector besides the idea to link medical colleges with district hospitals.
