MADURAI: The famous Lord Murugan temple at Tiruparankundram in Madurai is ready for the ‘Thai Poosam’ festival 2020.
On 26th January 2020, the auspicious flag hoisting event in the temple took place to mark the beginning of this 10-day festival. Lakhs of devotees will throng this temple for ‘Thai Poosam’ festival.
The temple management had made elaborate arrangements for float festival to be held towards the end of this 10-day celebrations. It will be celebrated with fervour on February 3rd – 4th. Special decorations will be made during this festival for Lord Subramaniya Swamy and Goddess Deivayani who will give darshan to devotees in different colours.
