MADURAI: The reappointed Puducherry unit BJP president Mr.V.Saminathan has said that bringing the party to power and ruling position in 2021 elections is the mission with which party cadres and functionaries will work from today.
“People are expecting and waiting for a change….They are vexed with decades of Congress party rule and its allies. There is widespread corruption, unemployment, mills are closed and there is no development of Puducherry,” Mr.Saminathan, who was again appointed as BJP Puducherry president today morning had told ‘Lotustimes’ news website over phone on 16th January 2020.
Mr.Saminathan, who will be the party president of Puducherry for next three years, has thanked the national leadership for giving him a chance once again to an ordinary person like him.
“I thank my cadres in Puducherry for their support. BJP is a party where our leadership sees only hard work. There is no caste, money, family background etc in our party. I am very happy that my work got good recognition from my party leadership. In this second innings also, I will work with more vigor and the aim is to bring BJP to power in 2021 elections,” Mr.Saminathan said.
