CHENNAI: The Governor of Telangana Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan today gave a ‘T’ message at the start of this auspicious ‘Thai maasam’ in the Pongal festival celebration at her residence in Saligramam in Chennai.
“I will be a bridge between Telangana and Tamil Nadu. There is more potential to be explored in tourism, water transport, temples etc. I will be a connecting bridge between the two States…..People of Telangana wish to see the temples of Tamil Nadu and I am planning to give temple idols as gift to Telangana CM,” she said according to a media statement.
Dr.Tamilisai also appealed to people, especially youngsters, to inculcate reading habit, read books and have separate book shelves at home. She extended her Pongal greetings to people of Telangana and Tamil Nadu.
