MADURAI: To stress the importance of sanitation and hygiene, the Madurai Corporation gave a healthy thought for this year’s Pongal festival.
On 14th January 2020, the civic body had organized ‘Sugaadhara Pongal’ at Tamil Nadu Housing Board flats in Mel Anuppanadi in Madurai in association with Axis Foundation and Vash Foundation.
Competitions were conducted for the local people and prizes were distributed. The Madurai Corporation’s intention was to to send out a civic cleanliness social message for maintaining hygiene and sanitation with the cooperation of people of Madurai city. Mr.Subramanian, Shyam and Arul Grace were among those who took good initiative in this residential locality here today.
