MADURAI: Top police officials today inspected the place where ‘Jallikattu’ will take place at Alanganallur and Palamedu in Madurai district. While the Palamedu jallikattu will be held on 16th January 2020, the famous Alanganallur jallikattu event will take place on 17th January.
South Zone Inspector General of Police Mr.Shanmugha Rajeswaran carried out the inspection and gave instructions with regard to security and safety aspects in these two places. DIG Ani Vijaya, district SP Mr.Manivannan, Vadipatti Thasildhar Krishnakumar and village representatives were among those present to oversee the arrangements.
