MADURAI: The country’s prestigious Six Sigma Healthcare Excellence Award 2019 was presented to Madurai-based Vadamalayan Hospitals at a gala function held in New Delhi on 26th December 2019.

Considered as Oscar of healthcare, the Six Sigma Best Hospital Award for the year 2019 was handed over by Army Chief Mr.Bipin Rawat. It was received by Mrs.A.Jasmin, Principal of Vadamalayan Institute of Medical and Health Sciences and Mr.V.Karthick, Management Representative.

Dr.Pugalagiri Vadamalayan, Chairman and Managing Director of Vadamalayan Hospitals, told ‘Lotustimes’ news website today that the 64 years of patient service got a wide recognition at national level with this award.
“Confidence of patients on our hospital, doctors and staff is a strong point for us. Getting selected and receiving the Six Sigma Award is a proud moment for our hospital. It is also a matter of pride for Madurai and Tamil Nadu in the field of healthcare. Thanks to our entire hospital staff at all levels,” the hospital CMD has said.

FOURTH EDITION OF THE AWARD:

This year’s was the fourth edition of Six Sigma Healthcare Excellence Awards and Leadership Summit.
