MADURAI: The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has taken yet another customer interest decision and alerted its ‘Indane’ gas LPG customers in Tamil Nadu. Customers have been asked not to pay any extra charges to the deliverymen beyond what is mentioned in the cash memo receipt given to them.

In a press release on 10th December 2019, Mr.R.Chidambaram, General Manager (Corporate Communications), has said that the cash memo from their gas distributor, to be acknowledged by the customer on receipt of cylinder refill, has the Retail Selling Price (RSP) clearly mentioned on it.
This RSP is inclusive of the delivery charges for reaching the LPG cylinders to customers’ kitchens. “So, Indane Gas customers need not pay any extra charges to deliverymen beyond what is contained in the cash memo. IndianOil does not acknowledge payment of tips. In the event of over-charging the customers can contact the following phone numbers and inform,” the news release added.
