MADURAI: ‘Mahabharathathil Dharmam’ Edhirum, Pudhirum’, a book in Tamil authored by retired IPS officer Prof.K.Kasim was released in Madurai on 7th November 2019. The book speaks about many issues that will be relevant in today’s context and politics based on the ‘dharma’ of ancient Hindu epic Mahabharatha.
Top officials, police department personnel, retired police officers and others took part in the book release function which was organized by Retired Police Officers Association, Madurai District, here today.

Mr.Vijayakumar, Managing Director of ELCOT and Chairman of ELNET Technologies Ltd, has released IPS Mr.Kasim’s book and the first copy was received by Madurai District Collector Dr.T.G.Vinay. The second copy of the book was received by Mrs.Unnamalai, Managing Director, ELNET Technologies Ltd.
Among those present at the book release function were Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan, Madurai City Police Commissioner Mr.Davidson Devasirvatham and the top priest of famous Pillayarpatti Karpaka Vinayaga Temple Shri.K. Pitchai Gurukkal among others.
MADURAI COLLECTOR FEELS PROUD:
Speaking after the book launch, Madurai district Collector Dr.Vinay has said that extracurricular activity is good for professional career and personality development. “I am proud of Kasim Sir….We expect more such great books from you. For people in administration or police etc, ours is a continuous job,” the district collector said.
Mr.Selvinkumar from US and Pillayarpatti Temple Pitchai Gurukkal recalled their long association with IPS officer Mr.K.Kasim who has authored already 15 books and this ‘Mahabhratha Dharmam’ is his 16th book. He was presented with an award in the US last month for this commendable work.
Mr.Karmegam, president of Retired Police Officers Association, Mr.Dubashrazack Shajahan, retired ADSP and association vice-president, Madurai district, were among those who took efforts and participated in the book release event in Madurai today December 7th 2019 Saturday.
