MADURAI: In India, December 6th is till now known as a demolition day for some other reason. But from today, December 6th should be called as Rapists Demolition Day thanks to the Telangana State police who killed four persons in an early morning encounter for raping of a 26-year-old woman vet doctor and heinously burning her to death in Hyderabad 10 days back.
The nations’s mood is clear and people wanted fast track justice from the court. However, things took a speedy turn today – December 6th 2019 – as the four accused were shot dead in an encounter by Hyderabad police when they tried to attack police team during the scene reconstruction investigation when the accused were taken to the crime spot.
Scenes of joy and celebration all over India began instantly while police were given sweets and flowers. After the ghastly Nirbhaya rape incident in Delhi seven years ago, the Hyderabad shocker now took place and women’s safety is a question mark.
And, December 6th must be remembered as a justice day for women. So, it is appropriate to call it as RAPISTS DEMOLITION DAY to prevent rape incidents in India and create awareness that RAPES SHOULD NOT HAPPEN.
