CHENNAI: Recognising the selfless service of teachers in shaping up students score good marks in public examinations, Srinivasa Academy today presented Best Teacher Awards 2019 to more than 100 teachers from various Chennai-based schools.
Srinivasa Academy in Chennai, an institute that focuses on professional courses such as CA-ICWAI and CS, gave away the awards at a well-attended event conducted along with All Ladies League-Chennai Chapter. The Academy has branches at Ashok Nagar, Tambaram and Velachery in Chennai.

Prof.P.Jagadeesan, Head of Department of Commerce, Vel’s University, presented the awards to school teachers in the presence of Mrs.Vidya Srikanth, founder and director, Srinivasa Academy.
“The credit for success of every student goes only to the teacher in today’s competitive society. The awardee teachers were selected by students through online voting. Our aim is to motivate teachers and thank them for their dedication,” Ms.Vidhya Srikanth has said in a press release.

The schools whose teachers have received award and certificate include Anna Adarsh, Velachery DAV School and Sita Devi Garodia School. Srinivasa Academy is a professional coaching academy for Chartered Accountancy and Cost Management Accountancy examinations.
