MADURAI: The ‘Panchami’ land issue which has put the DMK in a tight spot andhas caught media attention all over India has now reached Germany too. There are serious allegations that the party’s ‘Murasoli’ office in Chennai is situated on a panchami land meant for Scheduled Castes.
(VIDEO) AT COLOGNE IN GERMANY:
Mr.S.Sankar Pandi, BJP youth wing State Secretary Tamil Nadu, who is on a trip to Germany had boldly displayed a placard at Cologne in Germany on November 21st-22nd demanding the DMK president Mr.M.K. Stalin to show the ‘parent documents’ of ‘Murasoli Trust’ land in Chennai and prove that it is not a Panchami land belonging to socially deprived classes.
“The BJP will not spare till Stalin comes clean in this panchami land matter. In Cologne there is a common protest spot where people assemble and raise their demands. So, I went to that place and showed a placard,” Mr.Sankar Pandi told ‘Lotustimes’ website over phone today.
This Panchami land controversy became a national issue after Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary and Madurai-based Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan took up the matter with the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) in New Delhi in October.
The NCSC Vice-Chairman Mr.L.Murugan had conducted a hearing in Chennai this week. Now all eyes are on the DMK’s documents.
