MADURAI: The Madurai Regional Centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) had conducted one-day orientation programme here on November 15th 2019 for newly empanelled academic counsellors from various study centres.
Dr.D.R.Sharma, IGNOU Regional Director and Dr.G.Anbalagan, Assistant Regional Director, were the resource persons and they had explained about the distance education system, according to a press release.
The participants were given a thorough orientation about their roles and responsibilities as academic counsellors for courses offered by IGNOU.
