MADURAI: Residents of T.Kallupatti in Madurai district have urged the State Government authorities and local administration to supply drinking water to their town everyday since the water level storage in Vaigai dam has improved.
“Now we are getting drinking water supply on alternate days…..Now that there is water available in Vaigai river and Vaigai dam, we request for daily availability for drinking water for T.Kallupatti. My request is on behalf of our T.Kallupatti people,” Mr.S.Baskaran, a social activist and former HM of Government High School in Vannivelanpatti, said today.
Mr.Baskaran had met the Tamil Nadu Revenue Minister Mr.R.B.Udhaya Kumar today November 16th 2019 while the Minister was on a march from T.Kallupatti to Kalligudi today morning.
