CHENNAI: In connection with World Diabetes Day on November 14th, the Lions Club of Madras Chetpet is conducting a diabetes screening camp on that day at MMDA Mathur, Madhavaram- in Chennai, in association with Apollo Tyres Health Centre.
According to club administrator Ms.N.S.Rani, around 200 persons will be screened and checked for diabetes / related tests besides an awareness talk on how to prevent and control ‘sugar’.
Mr.D.Janakiraman, Executive Committee member, All India Motor Congress, Ln.Dr.Manoharji, president, All India Singaravelar Meenavar Munnetra Kazhagam, Ln.B.Sathyanarayana Murthy, Lions District Governor of District 324-A5 and Ln.N.Dineshkumar, president, Lions Club of Chennai Chetpet, will be among those who will take part in the diabetes screening camp, Ms.Rani informed today.
