AMARAVATI (AP): The name Chandrababu Naidu became a brand by itself. He was a mascot of development for then united Andhra Pradesh and the best example is the Hyderabad’s hi-tech cyber city developed with his passion for IT industry which had now gone to Telangana.
After the State bifurcation in 2014, the proposed world-class new capital-under-construction Amaravati was taken up for the bifurcated Andhra Pradesh and Mr.Naidu’s experience, vision, mission and passion for progress and development, stood as great strength for AP people. A leader who was got praise from Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and others.
NAIDU IS A LEADER WITH VISION:
But sadly, things have turned towards disaster in AP State ever since Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s party came to power in 2019 Assembly elections. A seasoned leader of repute Mr.Chandrababu Naidu was voted out of power by the electorate and certainly that verdict has to be respected in a democracy.
But, what is happening now in Andhra Pradesh in the last four months with Jaganmohan Reddy at the helm as CM, very clearly indicates that people have started realizing that they made a mistake with their ballot in the recent 2019 elections.
PEOPLE’S DOUBTS IN AP:
1. Everything is now put on a reverse trend reverse gear by Jagan govt. Whatever was started by Mr.Chandrababu Naidu and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government are being reversed through a name called ‘reverse tenders’ which means the ongoing development projects of a new State AP got stopped. Lakhs of workers became jobless. Fresh tenders being called and no work till the process is over.
2. Demolition and destruction works became order of the day in the last four months from June to September 2019. While capital construction works came to a grinding halt completely, officials have been asked to demolish buildings, stop tender process, go for reverse tendering etc which led to stoppage of works for the new capital Amaravati. Construction works stopped and demolition is taking place.
3. All major opposition parties have upped their criticism for the manner in which CM Jagan is functioning taking advantage of his strength of 151 MLAs belonging to YSR Congress Party.
BJP ATTACKS AND COMPLAINS:
4. The State BJP unit in AP is presently going in full steam lambasting Jagan’s attitude and policies and his utter neglect of advice from various Ministries, Central government experts etc on water irrigation projects including the all important multi-purpose Polavaram water project. Mr.Chandrababu Naidu stepped up project works and they are being stopped now.
5. A strong public opinion and anti-Jaganmohan Reddy reactions already started emerging in Andhra Pradesh on many issues and the latest huge allegation is his government’s dole to YSR Congress Party functionaries using State government funds. The ‘Grama Volunteer’ and ‘Grama Sachivalaya’ concepts of CM Mr.Jagan Mohan Reddy are coming under fire from the TDP, BJP, Jana Sena. Communists and others. That party cadres becoming beneficiaries in many places is the allegation for ‘grama volunteer’ role.
6. In all, the AP people are shocked because doubts are raised about beautiful capital Amaravati which caught international attention and funding agencies besides countries such as Singapore etc.
7. Will capital be changed because Mr.Naidu chosen it? As everything came to a standstill and Mr.Jagan Mohan Reddy concentrating only on election promises of welfare schemes, the strong opinion now is that Andhra Pradesh wants Mr.Nara Chandrababu Naidu as CM again because the State wants a good capital city for employment and revenue generation.
