MADURAI: A national seminar on ‘Impact of Forensic Science in Deviant Society’ was organized by Annai Fatima College of Arts and Science, Madurai, on October 16th 2019.
The college’s Department of Forensic Science had invited forensic experts from various places to discuss about the ways to reduce crime, control deviant behavior and ways to improve behavioral patterns among people of all age groups.

Among those who were invited to speak at this national forensic seminar include Mr.Vinod J Lakkappan, Deputy Director of Forensic Laboratory in Karnataka, Mr.K.Arun Kumar, forensic surgeon, Theni Medical College, Mr.B.N.Phaneendar, founder and CEO, Clues 4 Evidence and Dr.P.S.Navaraj, former Principal, Annai Fatima College of Arts and Science, Madurai.
COLLEGE MANAGEMENT:
This national seminar was an event to enhance the field of forensic science through exchange of thoughts and ideas between experts.
Mr.M.S.Sha, Chairman, Annai Fatima College (AFC), Mrs.Shakeela Sha, CEO of the college, Dr.Velumani, Principal, Mr.G.Muthuramalingam, Vice-Principal, and other college authorities took steps to ensure that the seminar sends out a strong message for policy-making.
“Annai Fatima College is doing a good work in this field and its courses in forensic science with focus on crime toxicology etc are very relevant for today’s situation when rebellion and aggressive psychological behavior are posing a severe challenge to society at large,” observed Dr.P.S.Navaraj.
