MADURAI: Ever since the new government came to power in Andhra Pradesh in June this year led by Chief Minister Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy who is a known Christian faith believer, complaints from devotees to various Hindu temples are pouring in. It is worse that sad and shocking complaints are coming from Tirumala, the abode of Lord of Seven Hills, Lord Venkateshwara or Lord Balaji.
VIDEO – IN TAMIL:
In several sections of Telugu media, there are large number of complaints that in many important temples, the Hindu traditions are being flouted and some Christian groups / Christian police and people belonging to other religious faiths, are trying to control Hindu devotees, Hindus’ rights and their prayers by using the name of CM Mr.Jagan.
The latest video, sent by a group of devotees from Chennai in Tamil, shows that policemen who were posted for duty on the most important Hindus’ destination Tirumala – Tirupati-, were not allowed to do the routine singing of bhajans allowed till recently.
It is time for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to take quick note of the growing anger / resentment of Hindus, devotees and others.
The BJP, Hindu organisations and all service – devotional bodies must come together to save the Tirumala Temple. Other religions should not target this major Hindu temple in the world.
