MADURAI: The BJP in Madurai is getting a high voltage campaign in its run up to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
The party’s national president Mr.Amit Shah will be in Madurai on February 22nd and he is going to meet / interact with the beneficiaries of Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi government’s welfare schemes which are centrally sponsored and welcomed by people in Tamil Nadu.
This meeting is likely to take place to Subbulakshmi College – R.L.Institute of Nautical Sciences – near Madurai airport on Feb 22nd 2019 forenoon, according to party sources. From Madurai, Mr.Amit Shah will proceed to important meeting with BJP functionaries in Ramanathapuram Parliamentary constituency.
MADURAI IS A SPECIAL PLACE:
Madurai is becoming a HOT SPOT for the BJP’s election booster in Tamil Nadu because Mr.Narendra Modi had addressed a massive public meeting here on January 27th 2019 after laying the foundation stone for AIIMS- Madurai.
Immediately after that, on February 15th, the Union Law Minister Mr.Ravi Shankar Prasad was in Madurai to address the ‘Sakthi Kendra Sammelan’ – booth committee in-charges.
Since this scheduled meeting had to be postponed suddenly because of national mourning for the dastardly killing of our CRPF civilians in Pulwama -Jammu and Kashmir – by Pakistan-groomed terrorists, Mr.Ravi Shankar Prasad met privately the representatives of various community groups and organizations and received their representations to the Union government before he left for the national capital.
