MADURAI: An extensive meeting was conducted in Madurai on January 24th 2019 to review the security arrangements for Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi’s visit to the city on Sunday.
Mr.Modi is coming here on January 27th to lay the foundation stone for AIIMS and address a massive public meeting from a sprawling ground at Mandela Nagar along Ring Road near the airport.

Top police / security officials from Central and State government agencies had discussed in detail all security aspects to be in place at the meeting venue.
M.P.Gupta, IG -SPG, and other senior officers took part in the security review meeting. Also, officials from various other government departments including PWD, Health, Fire and Rescue Services, BSNL, CISF, Airports Authority and Madurai district administration, had attended the meeting which took place at the meeting spot.
