MADURAI: One of the important social justice arms of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to empower poorer deserving sections of society – the SC Wing – is now ready to go in full swing in Madurai Zone covering four districts in southern Tamil Nadu with a full-packed action plan from December 2018.
The party districts that will be covered include BJP’s Madurai Urban, Madurai Rural, Virudhunagar, Dindigul and Theni. One single goal is to work for SC welfare from booth level to mandal level to district level.
Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, who is the Madurai Division in-charge for the BJP, held a special meeting with the SC wing in-charges of these districts in Madurai on December 3rd 2018 Monday morning where a pucca action plan has been chalked out after two-hour meeting.
FOR DEVENDRA KULA VELLALAR PEOPLE:
Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, along with Madurai Rural District BJP Secretary Mr.T.Jeyachandran and SC Wing district functionaries, had a detailed discussion for the future course of action beginning from this month December 2018.
While focusing on broadening the base of the BJP from booth level and to meet important SC leaders in their respective areas, the Madurai Zone BJP is also putting in its efforts for the progress and welfare of the deserving Devendra Kula Vellalar community which has been eagerly waiting for identification of their community.
“The Central Government had already done its duty for Devendra Kula Velalar community people in Madurai Region……Thanks to our Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi, our national president Mr.Amit Shah and Union Minister Mr.Jitender Singh…..and to the PMO. The request of Devendra Kula Velalar people is to get one single identity as Devendra Kula Velalar community by merging all their seven sub-castes…….Mr.Amit Shah was infact the first signatory of their Madurai Declaration……BUT THE TAMIL NADU STATE GOVERNMENT IS STILL TO COMPLETE THE REQUIRED FORMALITIES AND PROVIDE DOCUMENTS TO THE CENTRE…..for the Prime Minister and his government to take the process forward for the welfare of Devendra Kula Vellalar community people……who are waiting for decades in southern districts……,” Prof.Dr.Srinivasan, has said after the meeting in Madurai on December 3rd 2018.
