CHENNAI: In a very strong indication that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tamil Nadu is gearing up for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections whenever they are held, a vibrant ‘IT – SOCIAL MEDIA WAR ROOM’ has been started in Chennai on September 24th 2018 Monday.
BJP National General Secretary Mr.P.Muralidhar Rao, Tamil Nadu BJP State president Dr.Mrs.Tamilisai Soundararajan and senior leader Shri.La.Ganesan, were among those who were present and felicitated the Information Technology IT and Social Media team members and State IT Cell convener Mr.Dilipkumar and his team at the inauguration of NEW SOCIAL MEDIA WAR ROOM OF BJP TAMIL NADU IN CHENNAI.
2019 POLLS – TO REACH THE PEOPLE:
The BJP Social Media – IT war room will function in a proactive way in preparation for the 2019 Parliament elections by reaching the people / voters in an effective way easily with right information and facts.
“Video editing, memes creating, Whatsapp groups / facebook, twitter etc at booth level in all constituencies…. cartoons….graphics…. and most importantly TO TELL THE PEOPLE ABOUT MODI GOVT WELFARE SCHEMES through our party’s IT and social media teams are some of the functions of this special war room,” said Mr.S.Ananthakrishnan, Madurai Zone in-charge of BJP Social Media and IT cell.
TO COUNTER THE OPPOSITION WITH FACTS:
Mr.Pon.V.Balaganapathi, BJP State Secretary who is associated with IT Social Media cell, has said from Paramakudi, that the party’s social media and IT war room in Chennai will lead the way to counter the opposition parties who indulge in negative campaign by confusing the people.
“Our party cadres at local ward level need good information to take on our political adversaries….So, this social media – IT cell war room for upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections will help our party to go with a strategy through Whatsapp groups in every assembly segment,” BJP leader Mr.Pon.V.Balaganapathi has said on September 24th 2018 evening.
