MADURAI: In the temple city of Madurai, the BJP cadres took up tree planting activity in a big way to celebrate the 68th birthday of Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi on September 17th 2018 Monday.
In the party office premises of Madurai City unit near Bibikulam, district president Mr.Sasee Raman and State Youth Wing general secretary Mr.C.M.Mari Chakkaravarthy along with other functionaries had planted saplings and led the GO GREEN drive in various wards in Sellur and Pudur mandal areas besides Aaanayur where the BJP youth wing took up this activity on behalf of Madurai North Assembly constituency.

“We are covering all areas with active participation of our BJP cadres in Madurai…..In Pudur and Sellur mandals, totally 18 wards have been covered. We started this from our district party office in WARD 41 and then went to Chinna Chokkikulam area where we planted sapling in Government quarters Ward 42 near Lady Doak College….The BJP Youth Wing too had done similar activity in Aanaiyur Thiruppalai area,” Mr.Mari Chakkaravarthy has said.
