MADURAI: The influence of Lord Vinayaga is very huge on Hindus because he guides and puts us on right path like a traffic police and he can be described as a ‘cultural police’ for our well-being, said Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary and Madurai Zone in-charge Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan here on September 14th 2018 Friday evening.
He addressed a gathering of devotees at the well-arranged Vinayagar Chathurthi celebrations at Muniandi Koil Street (WARD 47)- Jawaharpuram / D.R.O.Colony where ‘Thiruvilakku Puja’ for women was also conducted.

BJP functionaries and Hindu Munnani cadres took part in the Vinayaga Chathurthi festival events in Ward 47 Muniyandikoil Streetr DRO Colony in Madurai, held from September 12th to 14th 2018.
The arrangements team include Mr.G.P.Baskar, BJP’s OBC Wing State Secretary, Mr.M.Swaminathan, Sellur mandal vice-president (Ward 47) and Yagappa Nagar Senthilkumar.
SAREES DISTRIBUTED:
The event organisers had distributed sarees and vessels to women who participated in the Thiruvillaku Puja.
Mrs.Sunitha Mallady, Madurai City BJP district vice-president and K.K.Nagar Kannan were among those present.
