RAMESWARAM: In the holy ‘agnitheertham’ in Rameswaram in south Tamil Nadu, the ashes of great leader former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri.Atal Bihari Vajpayee were immersed on August 26th 2018 Sunday.
BJP senior leader in Tamil Nadu and national secretary Mr.H.RAJA led the homage along with party’s Ramanathapuram district leaders – district president Mr.Muralidharan and district secretary Mr.Athma Karthick and others while people paid homage to the former PM by taking part in the ‘Asthi Kalash Yatra….;.
A procession was taken out in the famous temple town Rameswaram before the ashes were immersed in the ‘agnitheertham of Ramanathaswamy Temple.
A large number of people turned up to pay tributes and respects to Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji who passed away on August 16th 2018 in New Delhi due to age related illness.
