MADURAI: BJP district presidents of Madurai Urban and Madurai Rural – Mr.Saseeraman (Maanagar) and Mr.Maha.Suseendhran (Puranagar) have paid glorious tributes and homage to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri.Atal Bihari Vajpayee on August 26th 2018 Sunday.
They spoke to LOTUS TIMES news website in Madurai after immersing the ashes of Vajpayeeji in Vaigai River in the presence of a huge gathering of people and BJP cadres who came to pay tributes to Atalji who passed away in New Delhi on August 16th 2018 due to prolonged illness.

City unit president Mr.Saseeraman has said that the urn carrying the ashes of Shri.Vajpayeeji was taken in procession at four important places in Madurai city including Sellur and Munichalai.
People came out voluntarily to pay respects to GREAT LEADER Vajpayeeji in Madurai. “TODAY IS A HISTORIC DAY FOR MADURAI BECAUSE ATALJI’s ASHES WERE IMMERSED IN OUR VAIGAI.”
The Madurai Rural district president Mr.Maha.Suseendhran has said that we have studied and read and heard about the great sacrifices of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Pasumpon Thevar, Sardar Patel etc……and we are lucky to have seen a great patriot and PM Shri.Atalji in our lifetime.
