MADURAI: President of India Mr.Ramnath Kovind came to Chennai on August 5th 2018 Sunday afternoon to extend his speedy recovery best wishes and enquire about the latest health condition of nonagenarian leader / DMK president and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr.M.Karunanidhi at Kauvery hospital – Alwarpet- Chennai.

He spoke to Mr.Karunanidhi’s son M.K.Stalin (DMK Working President) and daughter Mrs.Kanimozhi (Rajya Sabha MP) and also with the hospital doctors for about 10 minutes.
Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.Banwarilal Purohit accompanied the President of India Mr.Ramnath Kovind during his visit to the hospital in Chennai at 2.45 p.m. on August 5th 2018 for knowing about Mr.Karunanidhi’s health condition and treatment being given by the doctors.
