MADURAI: A battery of top BJP leaders in Tamil Nadu along with various associations and organisations have thanked Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi for the AIIMS the temple city got recently thanks to the Central Government.
Union Minister of State for Finance and Shipping Mr.Pon.Radhakrishnan and Tamil Nadu BJP State president Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan have explained in detail at a well-attended public meeting in Madurai on July 5th 2018 Thursday evening about the efforts put in by the BJP leaders at various levels to bring premier hospital institution AIIMS to Madurai.

The public meeting in Madurai was organised by the Pudur Mandal of the BJP Madurai Urban district near Ambika Theatre in Anna Nagar.
“It is a shame that other political parties such as the DMK, PMK and Communists are claiming success in bringing All India Institute of Medical Sciences hospital to Thoppur Madurai…….” Dr.Tamilisai observed.
VAJPAYEE’S ANNOUNCEMENT:
In fact, it was our Prime Minister Shri.Atal Bihari Vajpayee who announced AIIMS in his speech on August 15th 2003….While Vajpayeeji started AIIMS hospital for Tamil Nadu with his announcement, now Mr.Narendra Modi had completed it by choosing Madurai……The credit for AIIMS goes only to the BJP.” Dr.Tamilisai had thundered at the public meeting.
She said that the common man and poor people will get top class healthcare treatment in AIIMS because it is a premier hospital. “Our great leaders like Vajpayee ji, Sushma Swaraj and Mr.Arun Jaitley are taking treatment only in AIIMS New Delhi and not in corporate private hospitals,” she added.
PUBLIC MEETING SUCCESS:
The public meeting organised by the BJP’s Pudur Mandal team was a good success as the message had reached the people.
BJP State vice-presidents Mr.S.Surendran and Mr.Suba.Nagarajan, Madurai Urban district president Mr.Saseeraman, State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, State youth wing general secretary Mr.C.M.Mari Chakkaravarthy and Pudur Mandal president Mr.R.Jothi Manivannan (Sankar), were among those who explained about the role played by the Tamil Nadu BJP to get AIIMS for Madurai mission accomplished.
