MADURAI: In his first long & maiden speech in Rajya Sabha on February 5th 2018, the BJP national president Mr.Amit Shah had made it clear to the nation that the goal of PM Narendra Modi is to achieve developed India very soon.
“The recent GST is a major economic reform in the entire world…..A tea-seller became our country’s Prime Minister and it is time for the opposition parties to stop talking about tea or pakoda etc……There is no corruption charge on our BJP-led NDA government in the last over three years……The black money is coming out and we are fighting a battle against corruption at all levels,” he said.
MODI GOVT SUCCESS:
Mr.Amit Shah spoke for about one hour while initiating the discussion from Government side on ‘Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address’ in the Rajya Sabha on February 5th 2018, with the session chaired by Vice-President Mr.M.Venkaiah Naidu.
“We know only people’s welfare but not vote bank politics…..The LPG gas cylinder scheme for poor women, poverty alleviation, helping the tribal families, clean homes, 3.3 crore gas connections, housing scheme in rural / urban areas, MUDRA bank loans, Jan Dhan bank accounts for all and One Rank One Pension implementation for our national security armed forces are a few achievements of our Modi government,” he added.
ELECTRICITY FOR VILLAGES:
The BJP president said in Rajya Sabha that power supply / electrification in villages became possible after Modi became PM.
“Our NDA government and our BJP made electricity possible in our villages…….Like that we brought light through Triple Talaq to protect innocent Muslim women from divorce…….The Swachh Bharat for cleanliness mission, digital connectivity, GST for one nation one tax system, SURGICAL STRIKE against terrorists in PoK, the recent healthcare scheme Aayush Maan bhava announced in Union Budget 2018 and modernization of our defence / police forces are our Modi government’s major highlights,” Mr.Amit Shah has said amidst cheers and thumping by the BJP members.
ROADS AND IRRIGATION:
Mr.Amit Shah has said that the BJP-led Government at the Centre is giving top priority for good roads, highways, rural road connectivity, infrastructure at all levels, village upgradation, irrigation and crop related schemes for the farmers, micro-irrigation, financial – fiscal discipline, welfare of our Jawans – armed forces, insurance schemes for poor families and digital connectivity.
