BUS FARE HIKE IS NOT FAIR : BJP PROTESTS IN TOP GEAR ( VIDEO – PART 1)

MADURAI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) went in top gear in Tamil Nadu on January 24th 2018 (Wednesday) to condemn the recent government bus fare hike by the State government.

Lending its voice and opposition to the students and poor people of Tamil Nadu, the party led a protest – demonstration at an important junction near the busy Kamarajar Salai in Madurai city to demand for immediate roll-back / reversal and come down on the steep hike in Government bus ticket rates.
 
Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan, Tamil Nadu BJP State president, along with hundreds of BJP leaders and cadres in Madurai urban and rural district units, raised slogans condemning the CM Edappadi Palaniswami government’s decision to hike the bus fare.
 

SAVE THE COMMON MAN:
 
The BJP, through its demonstration and protest in Madurai city and simultaneously at all places in the State, had voiced the PEOPLE’S ANGER against the bus ticket rate steep hike by the State Transport Corporation / State government – Transport Department in Tamil Nadu.
 
There was an open public demand to reverse the decision because it affects the common man, poor people, daily wage earners and the middle class who are depending on State government transport day in and day out.
 
MESSAGE FROM BJP MADURAI:
 
 
Coming out in support of students, employees and general public who travel by TNSTC buses and those people who travel by TN State government buses within the State, the BJP leaders from Madurai along with Madurai Urban district city BJP president Mr.Saseeraman and Madurai Rural district president Mr.Maha.Suseendhran, led  the protest condemning the bus fare hike.
