MADURAI: Women functionaries, Madurai city unit BJP office-bearers and cadres gathered in good number for the victory celebrations in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh assembly polls.
The area near Periyar Bus stand in Madurai reverberated with the name of Modi as party cadres echoed the name of Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi in the one-hour victory celebration on December 18th 2017 here Monday afternoon.
Mrs.K.Meenambigai, women’s wing Madurai urban district president, along with Mrs.Chithra, Mrs.Kanthikumari and team participated in the celebration.
From the BJP parent body, those who took part in the victory celebration include Madurai city unit office-bearers – Mrs.Naga Jayanthi, Mrs.Gowri, Mrs.Sunitha Mallady, Mrs.Kavitha and others.
The large turnout of BJP functionaries had sent out a strong message to the political opponents / DMK and other Dravidian parties that the BJP will focus on Tamil Nadu also and win elections here with good political strategy put in place by party’s national president Mr.Amit Shah and his team.
