MADURAI: A five-point grassroot work plan captioned after the famous ‘Panchtantra’ was prepared for the BJP cadres at all levels in Madurai region covering five districts.
These 5 important guidelines comes into effect straightaway and the objective is to strengthen the saffron through bottom to top approach, according to Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary and Madurai Division in-charge for the party.
WHAT IS ‘PANCHTANTRA’?
“We are insisting to our party functionaries that 5 basic / important works should be carried out. The objective is to strengthen the party at booth / ward and mandal level. Our ‘Panchtantra’ formula promotes leadership qualities and also increase the visibility of the BJP in Madurai Division that covers five districts – Madurai Urban, Madurai Rural, Virudhunagar, Dindigul and Theni,” the BJP State Secretary has said on December 2nd 2017 (Saturday).
1. To make all the booths ( KILAI ) as qualified booths-branches in their respective assembly constituencies. A minimum of 30 members in a booth makes it qualified booth.
2. Booth president and booth committees should be vibrant and carry out active party work.
3. ON EVERY TUESDAY, ward level – booth meetings must be conducted in all panchayats, town panchayats, municipalities and Corporation wards. Tuesday meetings are a must.
4. BJP flags and public notice-boards must be there in all localities.
5. Adequate attention has to be given to increase the subscription base of BJP’s mouthpiece ‘ORE NAADU’. Also, the party cadres should have Whatsapp data base by collecting mobile numbers in each ward area. This database will be useful at the time of elections.
