MADURAI: An orientation session cum training in effectively using social media was organised by the BJP for party functionaries in Madurai South assembly constituency on November 23rd 2017.
The IT & SM wing of the BJP conducted the orientation session in which 60 persons took part and they have been trained in the technical nuances of social media – Twitter / Facebook / Whatsapp etc.
Mr.Senthil Alagar, IT and Social Media Wing district president for Madurai Urban district of the BJP, explained to the participants on how to reach the people swiftly through the social media.
“Our party functionaries in Madurai South assembly constituency were explained on how to counter the wrong criticism of political opponents with facts and figures…..How to reach the information and details about Modi government welfare schemes was explained…..and importantly we told the participants that communication level within the BJP must be strengthened,” Mr.Senthil Alagar has said.
BE ACTIVE AND VIBRANT:
Mrs.A.R.Mahalakshmi, Tamil Nadu BJP State Women’s Wing president and Madurai South Constituency Convener, had urged the party functionaries to be vibrant and active on social media because communication with the people is the route to electoral success.
Mr.C.M.Mari Chakkaravarthy, State Youth Wing general secretary and senior leader Mr.Hari Singh were among those who interacted with the cadres who attended the orientation programme.
Ward presidents, booth committee members and district office-bearers of the BJP Madurai Urban district were among those who took part in the social media training session for Madurai South which was held at the office of Mrs.Mahalakshmi.
