DINDIGUL: The BJP teams across Dindigul district have been dazzling with activity in the social media space to take on political opponents with effective content and reach the people with an exclusive ‘Whatsapp Army.’
Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp are being used as the medium for political combat in all seven Assembly constituencies in Dindigul district by the BJP leaders, IT and Social media teams and party functionaries.
On November 19th 2017 (Sunday), the BJP district unit had conducted special training and orientation sessions for social media teams at Oddanchathram, Athur and Nilakottai thereby covering three assembly segments in a single day.
DINDIGUL DISTRICT BECAME A PIONEER:
Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary and Madurai Division in-charge for the party, who visited the three training sessions told the ‘Lotus Times’ website on Monday that Dindigul district BJP became a pioneer for the party in social media space by completing social media training programme in all the seven assembly constituencies.
The seven assembly segments are: Dindigul, Oddanchathram, Palani, Athur, Nilakottai, Natham and Vedasandur.
“These seven training sessions were held in a professional manner……The participation of BJP cadres from across Dindigul district was greatly visible and it was a success both in terms of quality and quantity,” Prof.Dr.Srinivasan had added.
KUDOS TO DIST PRESIDENT AND TEAM:
The State Secretary had complimented the active role of Dindigul district BJP president Mr.S.K.Palaniswamy and for his keen interest.
He applauded the efforts of IT and Social Media Wing teams and members – IT Wing State Secretary and Madurai division in-charge Mr.S.Anandakrishnan, district general secretaries Mr.Muthuramalingam, Mr.Siva and Mr.Kanagaraj and the interest shown by State Executive member Mr.Thirumalai Balaji to make social media teams vibrant in Dindigul district.
MODI GOVT SCHEMES & CORRECT INFO:
Through aggressive social media deployment, the Dindigul BJP office-bearers and functionaries will counter the political rivals by sharing correct information, Modi government welfare schemes and party views / ideology.
The social media team members were trained to open / operate Twitter accounts, Facebook and forwarding of info through Whatsapp etc.
