MADURAI: The “Initiative for Public Policy”, a non-political academic think tank forum launched from Madurai to get ideas from eminent persons / experts / resource persons etc for policy studies of the BJP, took off with a good start from the temple city of Madurai in Tamil Nadu on November 3rd 2017.
This initiative was led with a panel discussion led by Rajya Sabha MP and senior BJP leader Shri.La.Ganesan in which invitees for three topics took part in the deliberation held at MADITSSIA Hall in Madurai city.

The topics taken up for policy formulation preliminary discussion were : 1. Economic empowerment and industrial growth for southern districts of Tamil Nadu, 2. Protecting our local water sources and local water bodies, and 3. Study on socio-economic importance..positive impact of Hindu temples in the State for welfare of our people.
Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary and convenor of Department of Policy in the BJP, had explained the objectives of “Initiative for Public Policy” forum and the series of meetings to be continued in coming days with experts from various fields.
Shastry V.Mallady, State Secretary of Intellectual Cell / and joint coordinator for the policy meeting, welcomed the experts and guests.
