MADURAI: Following the action plan given by Madurai district leadership of the party, a team of BJP office-bearers and functionaries started work on November 10th 2017 for enrolling new members and voters’ list verification by going door-to-door in Ward 5 in Madurai city (Mullai Nagar).
This Ward 5 comes under Madurai North Assembly Constituency which is being shaped up as a ‘model assembly constituency’ by the party leaders here.
The BJP team working in Ward 5 includes Mr.Manavalan, Mr.Elango, Mr.Selvapandian and Mr.Saravanan.
Mr. M.S.Rajkumar, party’s Assembly constituency in-charge for Madurai North, has said that the BJP team will cover all areas in a phased manner and complete voters’ verification besides roping in new members of the general public into the party by explaining the achievements of Modi government and by tapping those who are already positive towards the BJP.
Totally, there are 236 booths to be covered in this segment and work is going on at a fast pace, Mr.Rajkumar added.
