MADURAI: There can be no better description for the great ancient Tamil classic Thirukkural if you listen to the words of BJP national leader, former Rajya Sabha MP and party’s National Executive Member Mr.Tarun Vijay.
“Thirukkural is very noble and great…..It is not just a classic….It is a Cultural Constitution for our country and our people because it dealt with every subject, our conduct and every sphere of life much much long back…..” he said in Madurai during his visit on November 1st 2017 (Wednesday).

Mr.Tarun Vijay is working hard to promote Tamil language and create larger awareness among the people of North India about Saint Thiruvalluvar and his verse Classic Thirukkural.
“Let us all work together, let us all involve Tamil scholars and Dalits, and all sections of people bringing them together for bringing the statue of Saint Thiruvalluvar on the banks of river Ganga,” he appealed.

The BJP national leader gave his interview to the ‘Lotus Times’ when he visited the party’s Lok Sabha Constituency office at Bibikulam in Madurai city on November 1st 2017 evening.
He says that the coming up of Thiruvalluvar statue on Ganga river will be a “history-making” and “I request all the Tamils and cutting across ideological lines / parties to see this as a great occasion for the glory of Tamil because “Thiruvalluvar is an unifier of humanity.”
“I discussed this matter with the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr.Yogi Adityanath …..I am proceeding with this humble idea with the help of all sections of Tamil people,” Mr.Tarun Vijay added.
