MADURAI: Former Rajya Sabha MP and BJP National Executive Member Mr.Tarun Vijay arrived in Madurai on Wednesday afternoon (November 1st 2017).
He was warmly received at the hotel by Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan and other party office-bearers. Mr.Tarun Vijay expressed his delight for visiting the temple city of Madurai.
In the evening, the BJP national leader is visiting the BJP’s Madurai Parliament Constituency Office at Bibikulam in the city where he will meet party’s office-bearers of Madurai Urban and Madurai Rural districts.
THIRUKKURAL AND THIRUVALLUVAR:
Mr.Tarun Vijay, who is well-known for his love for Thirukkural and his persistent efforts at the national level to spread the message of Saint Thiruvalluvar, has said that there is a strong connection between Lord Shiva, Madurai and Thiruvalluvar.
“Thirukkural was promoted to the Tamil Sangams from Madurai. This is a great place,” he added.
