MADURAI: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader in Tamil Nadu and Rajya Sabha MP Shri.L.Ganesan has said that the GST ( Goods and Services Tax) is good for India’s future in the long run and short-term difficulties should not be exaggerated since the GST Council is taking necessary actions quickly by reducing the tax rates.
“Our Modi government is for growth of small / micro industries…..Our basic fundamental governing principle is that We are for production by the masses and We are not for mass production……the MUDRA bank schemes of our Central government is an example,” he said.
Mr.L.Ganesan was in Madurai on October 19th 2017 (Thursday) to meet several delegations and individuals to listen to them on a wide range of subjects / grievances.
“This government is determined to give you a flourishing business, trade, commerce and industry…..MSMEs are our priority……Instead of giving bribes to officials, is it not wise to pay proper taxes to the Government,?” he asked casually and generally in Madurai during a meeting with traders’ delegation.
